With over 2,500 hours of sunshine a year, Valencia enjoys a very pleasant Mediterranean climate. Winters are mild, with temperatures rarely below 10º, and summers are warm but pleasant thanks to the sea breeze. As for rainfall, Valencia is one of the least rainy cities in Spain!

A town on a human scale

Valencia has a population of almost 800,000 and ranks as Spain’s third-largest city in terms of population. Despite this, it remains a city on a human scale, far removed from Europe’s major metropolises and their attendant disadvantages. The beautiful Valencian city still has all the advantages of a big city, with its numerous infrastructures, growing economic activity and numerous leisure activities to offer its visitors.

Renowned gastronomy

A stay in Spain always rhymes with Paëlla, and Valencia is its birthplace, where you’ll find the original recipe based on chicken, rabbit and dried beans.
