Intense DMC was created by a French expatriate in Barcelona since 2009. Falling in love with Spain in general and Barcelona in particular upon arrival, he enjoyed showing the city to his friends and acquaintances visiting the Catalan capital.

In 2012, Intense Barcelona was established, specializing in organizing stag parties and hen parties in Barcelona, in French. The agency quickly became the number one player in this not-so-small market (handling approximately 700 groups each year, and over 60 groups during the busiest weekends). However, from the beginning, the desire was to organize larger and more spectacular events.

Although Intense Barcelona already regularly organized corporate events, 2014 marked a new milestone with the creation of a dedicated website and a specialized department, to which the majority of the agency’s resources have since been devoted.

In 2016, the number of clients wanting to continue their experiences with Intense Barcelona increased significantly, leading to the decision of opening an office in Lisbon in order to offer an alternative to Barcelona.

Since then, new (Spanish) destinations are opened every year. However, it’s done without haste: the goal is to provide a mastery of each new destination, a local knowledge similar to that of Barcelona and Lisbon.

    Creation of Intense Barcelona agency and first private groups.

  • 2013

    First corporate events in Barcelona.
    The agency becomes number one in the French market for bachelor and bachelorette parties in Barcelona (Bachelor Party Barcelona and Bachelorette Party Barcelona).

  • 2014

    Creation of a department specialized in the management of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) trips and the launch of a dedicated website (Barcelona Seminars).

  • 2016

    The MICE segment exceeds private trips in terms of business volume.
    Inspired by clients who wish to travel with us to another destination, we are opening an office in Lisbon.

  • 2018

    Opening a second Spanish destination, Sevilla, and the first groups in Andalusia during the same year.
    Opening of Majorca and Madrid.
    Relocation to more spacious offices in the heart of Barcelona, just a stone’s throw away from Plaça Catalunya.

  • 2019

    Opening of Valencia.
    Complete rebranding, including a new logo and visual identity. Creation of the Intense DMC website and brand.
    Implementation of collaborative tools and a video conference room to facilitate communication, both prior to booking and during the trip planning process.

  • 2020

    Launch of a specialized blog and business interruption due to COVID-19 pandemic.

  • 2022

    Intensive recovery with over 35 events, including at least one in each of our destinations

  • 2023

    Redesign of our websites and opening up to the English-speaking market.
